Create Playlists For The XSPF Web Music Player
XSPF Web Music Player is a flash-based web application that uses xspf playlist format to play mp3 songs. XSPF is the XML Shareable Playlist Format. Music Player is Open Source Software, licensed under the BSD and can be used and modified by anyone, including for commercial purposes.
This small script helps you create playlists for the XSPF Player (version 0.2.2). It will list all mp3 files in the folder you specify, including all subfolders. By pointing and clicking you will create a playlist in no time. The idea with playlists is that instead of moving around mp3 files, you only distribute the playlist. Put it on your web site, email it to your friends, or keep it in a Firefox panel.
Did you know that if you are using Firefox, you can add this play list to a Firefox panel and play it while surfing the net?
